Remarkable journey for Peter Double, managing director

Andel is proud to see Peter Double, managing director at Andel, featured in today's edition of The Yorkshire Post's Business Post.

Today's feature is a great testament to the culture and ethos at Andel, where employees are valued and encouraged to develop through investment, training and opportunity.

Peter joined Andel in 1999 as Andel's first direcctly employed leak detection installer, while still a student.

Twenty-two years later, Peter is Andel's managing director, where turnover is expected to reach £7m this year, up from £4.5m when Peter took on the managing director role.

During Peter's time at Andel, the company has installed leak detection systems in buildings such as the Pentagon, The Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. 

"In the leak detection side of the company, we get into some very interesting buildings," said Peter.

In 2019, Peter became managing director, he commented, "When I got the promotion it was fantastic because I had worked for the comany for so long and was really passionate about the business, so I just felt really privileged."
