Andel Grease and Starch Separator

An environmentally-friendly and economical solution to separate the pollution content from your wastewater

Andel grease separators are designed for underground installation. The density difference between water and grease naturally separates the two as wastewater flows through the separator. Fat and oil particles float on the surface of the wastewater creating a layer of increasing thickness which should be regularly removed, while heavy substances fall to the bottom forming a sludge.

Grease and starch separators can be equipped with an anti-foaming system to prevent the foaming that occurs in wastewater with potato starch content.

According to the requirements of BS-EN 1825, a separator must be installed in the following environments:

• Meat processing and meat-packing facilities
• Restaurants and canteens
• Pubs and restaurants
• Fish and chip shops
• Cake shops and bakeries
• Industrial cooking facilities
