Floodline® 1-Zone High-Sensitivity Leak Detection Cable

The Floodline® 1-Zone High Sensitivity water-sensitive cable features two sensing cores twisted around a central former, combined with a highly absorbent fabric wrap and protected by a durable mesh outer braid. This construction delivers dependable leak detection in single, dedicated zone applications where increased sensitivity is required.

It is specifically designed to detect the slightest presence of liquid or condensation, which is drawn into the cable via the absorbent wrap. This makes it particularly well suited to cable-tying directly to the underside of pipework, valves and fittings where early-stage leaks or condensation may occur.

Typical cable runs between 5 and 15 metres.

The cable can be wetted and dried repeatedly without loss of performance, provided it is not exposed to contaminants that permanently affect its electrical characteristics. Where contamination is water-soluble, the cable can be removed, rinsed with clean water, dried and returned to service.
