Floodline® 1-Zone Detection Cable

The Floodline® 1-Zone water-sensitive cable uses two sensing cores twisted around a central former and protected by a durable mesh outer braid, delivering dependable leak detection where a single, dedicated zone is required.

It is ideal for monitoring high-risk areas such as drip trays beneath air-conditioning units, floor voids, tea points, toilets and kitchens, as well as individual zones within data centres or server rooms requiring targeted protection.

Cable start and end points are connected using either traditional Floodline® junction boxes or the Plug & Play system. Zone lengths can be configured to suit the application, with typical cable runs between 5 and 15 metres.

The cable can be wetted and dried repeatedly without loss of performance, provided it is not exposed to contaminants that permanently affect its electrical characteristics. Where contamination is water-soluble, the cable can be removed, rinsed with clean water, dried and returned to service.
