Floodline Flexi-Pad®

Flexible sheet for water leak detection in narrow voids and pipework

Flexi-Pad® is a flat, flexible sheet designed for liquid leak detection in narrow voids, around pipework, below plant equipment and in drip trays.

Flexi-Pad® sensors are specially designed for placing into narrow voids where other leak detection sensors are not practical. Sensors can detect all types of conductive liquid leaks and spills ranging from water to paint, chemicals and even syrups from vending machines.

Sensors can be wrapped around pipework at valves or joints and placed below equipment where leaks may be a risk.

A Flexi-Pad® sensor can be used as a single sensor or multiple sensors can be arranged in groups and connected together to form a single zone. A removable fabric cover assists absorption and protects the sensing surfaces. Flexi-Pad® sensors can be wet, dried and redeployed any number of times, provided the sensor element is not contaminated.

Floodline Flexi-Pad®

After wetting, the cover can be removed for drying and a spare cover, if available, can be used for immediate re-use.

The units are constructed with a tough, flexible plastic sheet with bonded carbon-loaded detection tracks and supplied with a removable fabric cover. The Flexi-Pad® activates when in contact with any conductive liquid and can be returned to use when dried.

Flexi-Pad® can be laid loose, pinned or glued at corners or tie-wrapped loosely around pipework.

Andel offers a custom design where the Flexi-Pad® sensor dimensions, shape and base material can be tailored to individual requirements up to a maximum of 1m x 1m.
