Andel Floodline® HLD Control Panel

Floodline® HLD can monitor from 4 to 128 traditional zones using resistance-based sensors and from 8 to 224 zones using Modbus-enabled sensors – a total zone capacity of 352 zones. A Floodline® zone can be anything from a single point to multiple sensors for all types of leak detection and temperature and humidity monitoring as well as liquid leak detection distance measuring up to 1500 metres.

Medium to large installations

Floodline® HLD is engineered for medium to large sites, operating an entire network of leak detection cables and sensors from a single, wall-mounted control panel. It combines advanced technology with enhanced functionality for both installers and end users.

A truly multifunctional and customisable leak detection control panel

The large 8-inch (203mm) LED touchscreen provides a complete system overview, including embedded building maps that pinpoint the exact location and type of any alarm activation.

Because each zone is electrically isolated, an alarm or maintenance activity in one zone does not affect monitoring in the others, ensuring uninterrupted protection.

Zone sensitivity

Sensitivity settings for each zone can be fine-tuned via the touchscreen to suit the environment and operating conditions, greatly reducing the risk of false alarms.

The integrated temperature and humidity sensor can be configured with up to four independent alarm thresholds.

Events Data Logging – last 1000 alarm/system events with date and time
Traditional Zone Data Logging – the panel also logs the resistance of each zone input every 10 minutes on a 7-day FIFO basis, shown graphically on the scree
If an alarm is triggered, HLD automatically activates solenoid valves to isolate water, oil or gas supply as required, in any single or group of zones
Allows the sensitivity of each zone to be adjusted, via the touchscreen set-up, to take into account the environment and working conditions for that zone, significantly reducing the risk of false alarms
In the event of an alarm activation or maintenance work, unaffected will continue to provide full leak detection monitoring
Full hybrid, simultaneous monitoring of traditional zonal and distance measuring leak detection systems
Accepts volt-free contact input for connection to third-party sensors and the option to monitor other remote site activities such as oil storage data.

A hybrid system

HLD provides complete BMS connectivity via Modbus and onward communication capabilities include Modbus, Ethernet, email and SMS.

The system provides simultaneous monitoring and detailed information on the large display screen for water, oil, gas, temperature and humidity sensors. HLD accepts volt-free contact input for connection to third-party sensors and has the capability to monitor other remote site activities such as fuel and oil storage data.

How many zones can it monitor? + -

The panel supports 4-128 traditional zones plus 8-224 Modbus zones – giving a maximum capacity of 352 zones.

Can it pinpoint the location of a leak? + -

Yes. Zonal systems identify the location of the leak, distance-measuring cables allow leaks to be identified up to 1,500 metres from the panel, with +/- 1 metre locations – all shown on the integrated touchscreen map.

The system features a large 8-inch colour LED touchscreen, providing real-time system status and an embedded map for clear, accurate alarm location.

Can it integrate with building management systems (BMS)? + -

Yes. It offers Modbus, Ethernet, SMS, email alerts, and volt-free outputs, making it fully compatible with most BMS platforms.

Does it automatically shut off supplies in the event of a leak? + -

The panel can control shut-off valves, such as motorised or solenoid, to automatically isolate water, oil, or gas in affected zones, preventing damage or escalation.

How are false alarms managed? + -

Each zone’s sensitivity can be adjusted via the touchscreen to suit site conditions, significantly reducing the chance of nuisance and unnecessary alarm activations.
