The Floodlinde Ranger® Control Panel is a distance measuring system comprising a wall-mounted panel with a leak detection module and water or oil sensor cable providing continuous leak detection monitoring for up to 1,500 metres. Ranger® can operate as a stand-alone system or can be integrated into a larger leak detection installation functioning as a zone and connecting to any Andel control panel.

Floodline Ranger® provides liquid leak detection for longer areas such as data centres, plant rooms, warehouses, libraries and museums and gives more choice to customers who may require a mixture of distance measuring within a zonal network and multiple sensors – in any size of installation.

If an alarm is triggered, the control panel activates an audio visual alarm and sends onward communication to BMS or similar. Illuminated LEDs on the control panel provide visual indication for power, leak detection, system status alerts and communications. The leak detection LED indicator on the control panel shows the distance to the leak.

Floodline Ranger® Distance Measuring Control Panel

Floodline Ranger® Sensor Cable is available for either water or oil and detects the presence of leaks at any point along its length. Detection cable is available in a range of pre-terminated lengths with locking connectors to join lengths together. The cable onstruction makes the water sensor cable mechanically strong and highly resistant to corrosion and abrasion. Oil sensor cable uses radiation-crosslinking and conductive-polymer technology to make the cable strong and chemically resistant.

Floodline Ranger® water sensor cable dries and resets within 15 minutes after removal from standing water and can be wiped with a clean, damp cloth. Ranger® oil sensor cable cannot be reset after a leak and the affected section must be replaced.
