Exports triple at Andel following autumn distributor conference

Huddersfield-based Andel, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of specialised leak detection and environmental protection systems for industry and utility providers, has seen export orders triple, following its first ever distributor conference, held in the Autumn.

The conference took place over three days, and included a tour of Andel’s Research & Development department. The event saw delegates attending from as far afield as Ireland, France, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, USA, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Singapore & China.

Mark Harris, Andel’s Commercial Director, said “We are delighted to see such a successful result, so swiftly after inviting our worldwide distributors to meet our technicians and R&D staff. The event gave us the ideal opportunity to showcase our ambitious development plans, including targeting export sales as a route to further expansion.”

“To consolidate this success, we will shortly be launching our BundGuard version 5, originally invented by our founder, 23 years ago, as well as a remote monitoring tank guard system. This uses cloud computing technology to monitor and provide status updates at inaccessible sites and installations,” he added.
