Supporting Education and Opportunity in Gopalgram

A significant part of Millennium’s CSR efforts is focused on Gopalgram, a small rural village in western India. At the heart of this community is Shri O.P. Zatakia High School, established in 1971 and educating local children for more than 50 years.

To mark the school’s golden jubilee, Millennium supported a major upgrade to its infrastructure, introducing modern learning facilities that enhance the educational experience. Today, students benefit not only from academic teaching but also from computer education, sports, and performing arts, supported through the Junoon Foundation. These initiatives help young people build confidence, creativity, and practical skills that will serve them well into the future.

Strengthening Community Health and Infrastructure

Millennium’s commitment to Gopalgram extends well beyond education. Their community initiatives include:

• Medical camps and support for eye surgeries
• Dental care and women’s health programmes
• Improvements to village infrastructure

Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship

One of Millennium’s most impactful initiatives, Project Dharti, focuses on empowering women entrepreneurs. Through this programme, locally grown spices are packaged and distributed across the country, with women receiving financial guidance and structured business support.

In addition, Millennium supports women-led small businesses in food production, spices, and textiles—helping to create sustainable livelihoods, encourage local entrepreneurship, and strengthen long-term community independence.

They place strong emphasis on team wellbeing and workplace culture, regularly organising activities such as cricket tournaments, marathon participation, and internal festival celebrations. On 5th October 2025, Millennium celebrated its 25th Founder’s Day, marking a major milestone in the company’s journey. The occasion was further highlighted by the opening of a new MRDPL store in Bangalore, reflecting continued growth and a long-term commitment to partners and customers alike.
