Individual Floodline® Digital Refrigerant Gas Sensors can be calibrated to detect a single refrigerant gas from the full range of commercially used refrigerant gases. Multiple sensors can be deployed to monitor any size of installation. The system performs periodic measurement of the concentration of refrigerant gas in enclosed spaces.
The Floodline® system conforms to BREEAM POL 01 requirements by providing a permanently installed multi-point refrigerant leak detection system using infra-red, semi-conductor or electro-chemical type sensors to continuously monitor the atmosphere in the vicinity of refrigeration equipment.
All gas sensors are calibrated in a calibration laboratory in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.

Exceeding the prescribed concentration values produces an audible and visible alarm and a change in the status of the output contacts. The gas sensor uses RS485 and volt-free contact for onward communication. Industrial enclosures and ATEX verisons are available.
A Floodline® digital refrigerant gas leak system in line with the defined BREEAM standard POL 01 can help to achieve one BREEAM credit subject to a successful audit by an authorised third-party assessor.
The aim of POL 01 is to reduce the level of greenhouse gas emissions arising from the leakage of refrigerants used to heat or cool a building.
One credit – Compliant refrigerant gas leak detection devices.
It provides continuous monitoring for the presence of commercially used refrigerant gases, helping businesses meet health and safety regulations and avoid costly disruptions.
It helps achieve one BREEAM POL 01 credit for compliant refrigerant gas leak detection.
Exceeding prescribed concentration values produces an audible and visual alarm and changes the status of its output contacts. It uses RS485 and volt-free contacts for onward communication.
It can be used as a stand-alone refrigerant alarm system or included as part of a larger Floodline® water/oil leak detection system.
It ensures companies comply with BS EN378 and detects refrigerant gases to HSE Occupational Exposure Limits.
Typical applications include a wide range of environments including HVAC and VRV Air Conditioning systems, refrigeration compressor packs, machine/plant rooms, A/C service tunnels, DX Split Units – in offices, residential blocks, hotel bedrooms, data and server rooms, laboratories, eductional facilities, transport hubs, cold storage – in fact any environment where refrigerant gas is used.
Sensors are calibrated in a calibration laboratory in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
Customers can enjoy a 10-year warranty on all Floodline® leak detection products when subscribed to the Andel Service and Maintenance Plan.
